Film - The Toy Company
This is the film Olivia Seymour, Olivia Plumpton and I created after being given the genre 'children' to create a film around. We were given two lessons to think of a whole new film and come up with a plot, characters, BBFC certificate and marketing ideas. In the end we eventually came up with the idea of the film 'The Toy Company'. After presenting it to the class we recieved a variety of different feedback from our class and most of the marks we were given were in the 7/8/9 out of 10 in all sections of the feedback which I think is quite highly rated. People generally seemed to have a liking towards our cast list and our marketing ideas, especially one that isn't mentioned on here but involves handing out balloons with the film poster on to children in popular cities/towns.
To improve further on the film I think if we spent more time on each section and together brought more ideas to the table then we would have been able to come up with more creative ideas. Also if we done some individual work on an allocated section of the movie it would have been more efficient because we wouldn't have the problem of ideas clashing.
